No pair of eyeglasses is valuable if they are not giving you the improved vision you require. Here at Argos Vision and Eye Care Center, from the moment you arrive for your eye exam to getting your completed eyeglasses, our priority is to get you the ideal eyeglass prescription; one that provides you with the sharpest, clearest vision that you’re capable of having.
You may require our Gaithersburg eyeglasses to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, or presbyopia. It’s not uncommon to have two or more of those refractive errors, with the outcome being that you will get either bifocals or trifocals. It’s important to take advantage of our eye exams once per year. Vision changes do occur over time, and your eyewear is only as good as its suitability to meet your needs right now. A complete eye exam means having you read from an eye chart and doing a refractive assessment, among other testing. Once our eye doctor has determined the right eyeglass prescription, you will then depend on our expert optical department to translate it into the appropriate lenses. You will find that you can see at all distances far better than you used to. Will you achieve 20/20 vision? Possibly, but that’s not really the goal. The goal is to get maximum improvement. Not everyone can have 20/20 vision, but if our Gaithersburg eyeglasses get you from 20/100 down to 20/40, for example, you’re doing considerably better. Crucially, you should come back on an annual basis so that your prescription can be verified as still being the right one, or a new one will be offered to match up with your vision requirements at that point.
At the top of our website is a button labeled “appointment.” Click on it to schedule your eye exam, or call our office instead. We’re looking forward to getting you the right prescription for our Gaithersburg eyeglasses.
